2) APPLICATIONS
a) ENGINEERING MACHINE INDUSTRY
b) METAL-WORKING INDUSTRY · vibrating screen
c) TRANSPORT INDUSTRY -
gear box for road vehicle units ·
reductors, axle box and traction motors for railway vehicles
· machines and equipments for shipments
d) FOREST INDUSTRY
e) CHEMICAL INDUSTRY
f) FOOD INDUSTRY - machines
and equipments for grist and bakery

3) CAGE TYPES - Pressed
steel cage · Machined brass cage - guided on the rollers
(suffix M); - guided on the inner ring (suffix MB); - guided
on the outer ring (suffix MA).
4) DESIGN TYPES · MA -
design (integral central lip on the
inner ring and machined brass cage, outer ring riding); ·
MB - design (integral central lip on the inner ring and machined
brass cage, inner ring riding); · C - design (floating
rib on the inner ring and pressed steel cage, symmetrical
rollers riding); · CA - design (modified inner design,
increased basic load, one piece machined brass cage); ·
CAB - design (modified inner design, increased basic load,
rollers with inner holes,two- piece cages assembled by pins);
· K - design (tapered bore bearings, taper 1:12); ·
K30 - design (tapered bore bearings, taper 1:30);
5) TECHNICAL EXECUTIONS CONDITIONS
a) DIMENSIONS The
main dimensions of spherical roller bearings are in accordance
with ISO 15.
b) TOLERANCE CLASSES
P0, P6, according ISO 492.
c) RADIAL CLEARANCE
Normal and on demand, C2, C3, C4, C5,
according to ISO 5753.
d) The
basic load ratings are established with ISO 76 and ISO 281.
6) SUGGESTIONS
a) MISALIGNMENT Under
normal loads and operating conditions and when the inner ring
rotates, the values of the permissible misalignment may vary
from 1 to 2,5 degrees of arc in regard to the bearing series.
b) AXIAL LOAD Considering
that the mounting is correctly done, the allowable axial load
can be accurately determined using the following equation:
Fa max =3×B×d, [KN], where: B=bearing width, [mm];
d=bearing bore diameter, [mm];
c) RUNNING TEMPERATURE
Small sized bearings operate normally
at temperatures up to +1200 C. Spherical roller bearings with
outside diameter D>240 mm, can be used up to an operating
temperature of +2000 C.
